August 17 Deadline! Apply for Gender-Youth and Children Educational Skill Training in Information Technology

Call for application for admission to attend Gender-Youth and Children Educational Skill Training in Information Technology in Chicken Soup Factory, Gardnersville, Liberia

To ensure that every child learns the skills required to work, BIRD-Liberia with support from Anike Foundation is pleased to announce a free "Gender-Youth and Children Educational Skill Training in Information Technology" which will be held at BIRD-Liberia office in Chicken Soup Factory, Opposite NTA, Behind New Jerusalem A. G. Church. The training will last for 3 months and trainees will be awarded certificates after the successful completion of the training. Registration is ongoing at her office free.

Phase I of the training is targeting 150 students between grades 1 to 12 with ages 14 to 20 years. Key topics include: Introduction to computer, Introduction to Windows, Typing Tutorial, and Microsoft Word 2007/2010. Four facilitators with experience are available to serve as trainer. These trainer will go over the impact that these types of services have on you and how to best use these services in your daily life. We will also take time to answer any of the questions that the class wants to discuss. We hope that you encourage your child or children to joins us for this informative learning as we seek to gather the names of 150 students on first come first serve basis. Ladies are most encouraged to apply.
